The Book

He Met Me There — The Book

Planned release: November 15, 2026. He Met Me There by Richard L. Hubbard is the memoir and discipleship resource behind the foundation’s mission.

Official KDP cover of He Met Me There by Richard L. Hubbard, planned release November 15, 2026.

It is a journey through service, loss, leadership, faith, brotherhood, mistakes, recovery, and the moments when God met me in places I did not expect.

From submarines and Navy life to family, grief, transition, and the road that eventually became He Met Me There, the book is being written around one central truth: When you lose your bearing, you need a True North.

More Than a Memoir

This is not simply a story about where I have been.

Each chapter looks back at a season of life and pulls forward a Navigation Lesson — something learned through experience that may help another man find his own bearing.

Some lessons came through success. Others came through failure, loss, hard conversations, and moments when the way ahead was anything but clear.

The goal is not to tell men where they should have been.

It is to remind them that they can still determine where they are, find the right bearing, and move forward.

Arriving November 15, 2026

The manuscript is currently in development alongside the larger He Met Me There mission.

Through personal testimony, Scripture, Navigation Lessons, and the HMMT Field Manual, this book shares the journey behind He Met Me There Foundation. The planned November 15, 2026 release is subject to final publishing and proof approval.
